Sunshine and Soil

Mother and I got our hands dirty this afternoon, planting all the pretty little flowers she bought today. We even cranked up the fountain- because a garden is a happy, beautiful, live thing... why wouldn't it want some music???

Ouch...

Things that happened to me last night:

1. I remembered to water mother's plants 4 days after she left town. They were dead.
2. I realized I am still emotionally needy, and that I can still feel emotionally starved. A lot.
3. I woke up with the worst leg cramp in the entire world (no one needs to yell, "OW!" at 3:25 in the morning unless its because they ran into a wall while leaving a bar).
4. I entered into a heinous text war. It had to happen I guess, but the battle scars are going to be hard to hide today.

But its all right. Its okay.

I'm drinking Starbucks for free today!

Don't forget to grab a free delicious coffee today- on the house!

Two things are guaranteed-

the lines will be impossibly long

and the baristas will not be perky.
