for giving me a chance when you weren't supposed to

for keeping a journal about our childhood

for staying at home with us

for eventually going back to work

for swim, ballet, and piano lessons

for telling me i was pretty

for saying "i love you" 42 times a day

for being strong when you had to be

for supporting me- always

for taking me in when i was desperate and broken

for making me better

for being the best role model that i know

for being the best mom in existence
